Правила сообщества
Как мы поддерживаем GyDate безопасным, уважительным и гостеприимным для геев по всему миру.
Our purpose
GyDate exists to help gay men aged 18+ build real connections — whether for dating, friendship, or meaningful conversation. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and welcome here.
These Community Guidelines apply to all users on our website and mobile app. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account removal.
Be respectful
- Treat every member with kindness, dignity, and respect
- No harassment, bullying, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact after someone says no
- No hate speech, slurs, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, caste, disability, body type, HIV status, or gender expression
- No threats of violence, self-harm encouragement, or intimidation
- No degrading language about someone's appearance, sexuality, or identity
- Disagreements happen — handle them maturely without personal attacks
Keep it real
- Use your own photos — no catfishing, impersonation, or stolen images
- Provide accurate information about your age, name, and location
- One account per person — no duplicate or ban-evasion accounts
- Do not misrepresent your age. GyDate is 18+ only — lying about your age is grounds for immediate removal
- Do not pretend to be someone else, including celebrities or other users
- AI-generated or heavily misleading profile photos are not allowed
Safe content only
GyDate maintains a clean, Google Play-safe environment. The following content is strictly prohibited in profiles, chat, and audio calls:
- Explicit, pornographic, or sexually graphic images or messages
- Nudity or underwear-only photos in profile pictures
- Content involving minors in any context — zero tolerance
- Promotion of illegal drugs, weapons, or criminal activity
- Content glorifying violence or self-harm
- Links to external adult sites, malware, or phishing pages
Flirtation and dating are welcome — explicit sexual content is not. When in doubt, keep it classy.
Consent matters
- Accept "no" gracefully — never pressure, guilt-trip, or persist after rejection
- Do not send unsolicited explicit images ("unsolicited pics")
- Ask before sharing personal contact details or social media handles
- Respect boundaries in chat and during audio calls
- Recording calls or sharing private conversations without consent is prohibited
No spam, scams, or commercial activity
- No commercial advertising, MLM schemes, or paid promotions in profiles or chat
- No phishing, fraud, or requests for money, gift cards, or crypto from strangers
- No escort services, paid companionship solicitation, or sex work advertising
- No automated bots, scripts, or scraping of user data
- No mass-messaging identical copy-paste spam to multiple users
Protect privacy — yours and others'
- Never share another person's private photos, messages, or personal details without consent
- Do not dox or publicly expose someone's real name, address, workplace, or phone number
- Do not screenshot and share private chats on social media
- Report blackmail or extortion attempts immediately — we take these seriously
Meeting in person
If you choose to meet someone from GyDate offline, your safety is your responsibility. We recommend:
- Meet in a public place for the first time (café, restaurant, busy area)
- Tell a trusted friend where you're going and who you're meeting
- Arrange your own transportation — don't rely on a stranger for a ride
- Trust your instincts — leave if something feels wrong
- Video or audio chat on GyDate before meeting in person
- Never send money to someone you haven't met in person
GyDate cannot verify the identity, background, or intentions of every user. Use common sense and prioritize your safety.
Reporting & enforcement
Every profile and chat has Block and Report tools. Use them when:
- Someone harasses, threatens, or makes you uncomfortable
- You encounter fake profiles, scams, or underage users
- You see prohibited content or guideline violations
- You suspect child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) — report immediately
Our enforcement actions may include:
- Warning — for minor first-time violations
- Temporary suspension — for repeated or moderate violations
- Permanent ban — for serious violations (harassment, minors, fraud, threats)
- Law enforcement referral — for illegal activity
We review reports as quickly as possible. False or malicious reports may also result in action against the reporter.
Child safety (CSAE)
GyDate has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any content or conduct involving minors — including underage accounts, grooming, or CSAM — results in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement.
Read our full Child Safety Standards for reporting steps, our response process, and authority cooperation. To report CSAE by email, contact support@gydate.com with subject "CSAE Report".
Appeals
If your account was suspended or banned and you believe it was a mistake, email support@gydate.com with:
- Your registered email address
- A brief explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
- Subject line: "Appeal — [your GyDate email]"
We review appeals within 7 business days. Our decision after review is final.
Contact & report concerns
Report violations, safety concerns, or appeal a decision by emailing support@gydate.com.
For urgent safety threats involving imminent harm, contact local emergency services (112 in India) in addition to reporting to us.
