Clear rules for cancelling GyDate Premium, stopping renewals, and requesting refunds on web and Android.

Platform-specific billing

Web subscriptions are billed via Razorpay. Android app subscriptions are billed via Google Play.

Premium plans

GyDate Premium is optional. Current plans include:

  • Weekly: ₹49 per week
  • Monthly: ₹149 per month
  • Yearly: ₹1499 per year

Prices shown in INR (₹) on the website. Android in-app prices may differ slightly as set by Google Play in your region.

Cancel on web (Razorpay)

  1. Sign in at gydate.app and open Premium — your plan expires automatically at the end of the paid period.
  2. Do not renew before expiry if you do not want to continue. Each payment is a one-time purchase for the selected period (weekly, monthly, or yearly).
  3. Alternatively, email support@gydate.com from your registered account email with subject "Cancel subscription".

Web Premium does not auto-renew unless you pay again. After your period ends, your account returns to the free tier unless you resubscribe.

Cancel on Android (Google Play)

  1. Open Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  2. Select GyDate and tap Cancel subscription.
  3. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.

What happens after cancellation

  • Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current period.
  • You keep Premium benefits (audio calls, advanced filters, ad-free experience) until that period expires.
  • After expiry, your account returns to the free tier. Your profile, chats, and data remain unless you delete your account.
  • You can resubscribe at any time from the app or website.

Refund policy

GyDate Premium provides immediate digital access. Refunds are limited as follows:

  • Subscriptions are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where required by applicable law.
  • We do not provide partial refunds for unused time within an active billing period unless mandated by consumer protection regulations.
  • If you were charged after cancelling, or charged twice by error, contact us within 14 days with your receipt and registered email — we will investigate and resolve valid billing errors.
  • Purchases made through Google Play must be requested through Google Play's refund process where eligible; we cannot override Play Store payment decisions.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws in India or your country of residence.

Billing questions & disputes

For billing help, email support@gydate.com with your registered email, platform (web or Android), and a description of the issue.

  • Include your payment receipt or Google Play order ID if available.
  • We aim to respond within 1–2 business days (Mon–Sat, 10 AM – 6 PM IST).
  • For urgent duplicate charges, add "URGENT" to the subject line.
